Windborne International's Partner Company, Sheppard Robson, has been responsible for the planning and designing of the GlaxoSmithkline research campus at Stevenage.

The development of the new research campus for GlaxoSmithKline at Stevenage is the largest project of its kind in the UK and accommodates over 1,500 research and support staff. A major capital development of this size reflects the investment cost of bringing new medicines to the market. Prime bespoke research facilities, which achieve the highest standards worldwide have been created.

Sheppard Robson, is one of the UK's leading architectural,planning and project management practices. The Company employs almost 300 persons and is, in turn, linked to other leading practices in the United States and othe parts of the World.

Sheppard Robson has been responsible for major projects throughout the World. Many of these involve complex science based projects for leading international corporations. Some examples of such projects are the GlaxoSmithKline Group Research Centre( cost: 710 Million Pounds -see photograph), the CVL Project for the UK Government (cost: 150 Million Pounds), concept planning for The Stockholm Environmental Science Park (cost: 300 Million Pounds), Napp Cambridge Science Park(cost: 60 Million Pounds), the Burligton DanesBio Medical Research Development for Imperial College (cost: 82 Million Pounds) and the Hixton Research campus for The Wellcome Trust. (cost: 48 Million Pounds).
